Oregon Brewery

G3 was approached by a major wastewater equipment vendor to provide engineering guidance for a potential upgrade to a premier Oregon brewery's existing wastewater treatment system.  Faced with occasional permit exceedances, tightening discharge limits, and no room to expand the existing treatment system, the brewery was literally in a tight spot.  After finding deficiencies and discrepancies in existing data, G3 designed a sampling regimen that allowed identification of a creative solution to inexpensively reduce peak loading without making major modifications to the existing system.  This approach created a buffer to allow the brewery to financially plan for future upgrades while keeping them within current permit limits.
